POLICE are searching for two men who attacked and robbed students after school in Deer Park last week.
Four Caroline Chisholm College students caught the bus from Braybrook to Ballarat Rd in Deer Park at 3.50pm on Monday 30 July.
They were approached by two offenders who made demands for them to hand over their property.
One of the men grabbed the kids by the shirt and another student was punched in the face.
The men took two wallets, an iPad and cash from the group.
They fled when a driver approached to assist the students and were last seen fleeing north on Ballarat Rd.
Transit police are also searching for a thief who attacked a woman in Sydenham on Wednesday 1 August at 6.45am.
A 22-year-old Hillside woman had parked her car and was going to catch a train at Watergardens station when she was confronted by a man.
He demanded she hand over her handbag. Fearing he may have a weapon, the woman complied.
The man fled towards the train station with the bag, which contained an iPod touch and textbooks.
Meanwhile, two teenagers were arrested after a burglary in St Albans at 3am on Thursday morning.
It’s alleged a 14-year-old broke into a home on Branston Rd, taking a handbag and car keys, before moving a car from the driveway to allow for a second vehicle parked behind it to be driven away.
On trying to drive off it’s alleged the boy collided with a brick fence and abandoned the car, returning to the first vehicle and driving off.
The car was located in Yarmouth Ave after what appeared to be a collision.
Police later arrested a 14-year-old in Mulhall Drive, allegedly in possession of items taken from the house.
A 16-year-old was also charged in relation to the incident.
