IRREPLACABLE documentary footage detailing the life of Williamstown Olympian Peter Norman was stolen from a car in Ballarat on 13 October, according to media reports.
Mr Norman, who died on 3 October and was honoured at a funeral service at the Williamstown Town Hall two weeks ago, was on the dais at the 1968 Mexico City Olympics during the famous black power salute. The footage, shot by Mr Norman’s nephew Matthew Norman, was the only video to capture the funeral service and was to have been the final section of a documentary.
