FRIENDS of Kororoit Creek have called on Gellibrand MP Nicola Roxon to speak at their barbecue for National Tree Day on Sunday 30 July.
Ms Roxon, members of the group and volunteers are expected to plant trees along the Toyota embankment of Kororoit Creek as part of the group’s ongoing activities to maintain and rehabilitate this local waterway.
“I congratulate Friends of Kororoit Creek and other local environment groups and volunteers taking part in National Tree Day, they make a great contribution to improving our urban environment,” she said.
