Millers Road

SPEED demons beware, the speed limit will be reduced permanently on parts of Millers Rd.
The speed limit will be reduced from 70 kilometres per hour to 60km/h between Geelong Road and the Kororoit Creek bridge – the part of the road which is not already 60km/h – from tomorrow (Wednesday, 21 September).
Hobsons Bay councillor Leigh Hardinge, who is a member of the Roadsafe Westgate Road Safety Council, said the aim of reducing the speed limit was to decrease the number of accidents along Millers Rd.
He said both the council and Roadsafe Westgate were optimistic the reduced speed limit would improve road safety and decrease the number of accidents along the busy stretch of Millers Rd.
