A WILLIAMSTOWN motorbike rider who reached speeds of up to 220km/h during a high-speed police chase has received a suspended prison sentence.
Magistrate Marc Sargent last week sentenced Cameron Gordon Robertson, 28, to two months prison, wholly suspended, and cancelled his licence for two years and imposed a $2000 fine.
Robertson pleaded guilty to 11 charges related to dangerous driving.
Police detected Robertson riding at 118km/h along Plenty Road, Yan Yean, on October 8, initiating a high speed chase that ended minutes later in Whittlesea.
