A TRANSPARENT steam clock arrived in Williamstown last week for all and sundry to see.
The clock is the masterpiece of Berwick engineer Peter Weare, who campaigned for it to be exhibited in Williamstown.
It was assembled at the visitor information centre in Williamstown on Thursday, with the finishing touches added on Friday ready for a public viewing on Saturday.
The clock will be on display until Saturday 3 September.
Tourism Victoria has recognised the clock has the potential to become a ‘mustsee’ attraction and has supported the proposal of building a similar clock in Melbourne.
