Altona City Theatre’s 118th production, the much-loved fairytale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, is expected to attract a large crowd.
Timed to coincide with the Bayside Festival, the theatre group opened the show over the weekend and another seven will be held until 28 March.
Several Hobsons Bay residents have been cast in the show and the director, Lauren Grieve, 21, a pantomime performer, will take up the behind-the-scenes role for the first time.
“Having been in the cast of many Altona City Theatre pantomimes over the years, it has been great to have this opportunity to have my show produced and experience the other side of a production,” she said.
Ms Grieve’s take on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will give the audience plenty of twists and turns to think about as they watch Snow White find her prince charming. Details: 0425 705 550.
