Mums and markets

A GROUP of dedicated mothers have banded together to launch the first Brookside Twilight Market in Caroline Springs. Residents will be treated to an array of stalls offering crafts, handmade items and imported goods. Organiser Lucia Storrar said there will also be a range of food to delight everyone’s taste buds from the humble Aussie sausage sizzle to Japanese and Islander foods. Last week Justice, left, his mum Marika, Lucia and her son Callum got together to put the finishing touches on this banner. And youngsters can revel in activities like face painting, henna painting, plaster painting and even tire themselves out on the jumping castle. Brookside College student choir will perform along with the school band and the nearby kindergarten will open its doors so little ones can enjoy story time. Tickets for the event are available on Saturday, 20 October at CS Square, in front of Gloria Jeans. 88413 Picture: DAMJAN JANEVSKI
