Playful puppets

PUPPETEERS including Tim, left, will go under the spotlight of a special Art in Public Places performance this month. The performance at Nosh in Newport, will incorporate 10 different short adult puppetry shows with the audience ‘lighting up’ the show with torches. The unique event sees performances differ from funny to the serious as well incorporating live music. Artistic Director Nancy Black said the show, Slam Noir, stemmed from the idea of giving puppeteers a platform to engage audiences in different ways. Slam Noir will perform at Nosh in Newport on Friday 13 April from 8pm.
