WOODS Street’s former post office has been given an artistic makeover and will re-open this month as the Woods Street Arts Space.
Hobsons Bay City Council, with the support of the community, has taken the lease of the former post office, in the spirit of urban renewal recognising the role the arts can play in activating spaces.
Securing the lease of the former post office enables the council to create a shop front arts hub for various art programs such as Art in Public Places, exhibitions and workshops.
