Police seek help

POLICE are appealing to the public to help identify three people they believe attempted to rob a clothing store in Altona.
It is alleged a man and woman deliberately distracted a shop assistant at HIZZ Menswear at Altona Gate Shopping Centre, while another man walked into the shop and attempted to open the unattended cash register at around 11.30am on 21 March 2012.
The second man also allegedly walked behind the counter and made an unsuccessful attempt to open the cash register.
The first man is described as in his late thirties, tall, with green eyes, brown hair and fair skin.
He was wearing a black jumper, khaki pants and white/grey sneakers.
The second man is described as in his late thirties, with a slim build, short dark hair and a dark complexion.
He was wearing a cap, navy blue work pants and a dark coloured jacket.
The woman is described as in her late thirties, with blue eyes, long brown hair and freckles.
She was wearing a grey hoodie with jeans and was carrying a black handbag. Police have released images of two men and a woman whom they believe may be able to assist them in their enquiries.
