DESPITE being eliminated from the MasterChef Kitchen, Tregan Borg from Altona Meadows is still keen to make her dreams a reality. Tregan and the Red Team faced the toughest elimination in week eight of the competition last Thursday. Tregan cooked against those in her team using eight ingredients in round one. She and four others then faced making a dish out of only five ingredients in the next round. The social worker then competed against friends Julia and Jules in round three where Tregan’s three simple ingredients took her out of the MasterChef competition. Crediting the Western Suburbs multiculturalism for her knowledge of food the 25-year-old is taking her experiences from the MasterChef kitchen to celebrity chef and Brimbank boy Shane Delia’s city restaurant, Maha.
