EMMA was among the young residents across Hobsons Bay enjoyed Children’s Book Week activities last Thursday.
Apart from reading, the seven days included several activities to delight little literature lovers.
Small residents attended Altona Library where they made newspaper pots, straw daisies and monster bookmarks.
Other Hobsons Bay City Council events included author talks, an Italian and English bilingual story time and a ‘read your fines off’ session.
The week also launched the 2012 Friends of Altona Libraries illustration competition for budding artists aged five and over.
