Julia to leave town

FORMER Prime Minister Julia Gillard could leave her current residence in Altona and head back to her family and home in Adelaide.
According to a press reports last week Ms Gillard will pack her bags and move back to Adelaide to be closer to her ageing mother, Moira and sister, Alison.
When contacted by the Star Ms Gillard’s media spokesperson said they could not confirm or deny the claim.
Ms Gillard moved back to her small brick house in Altona after packing and moving out of The Lodge shortly after she was deposed by current Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.
Ms Gillard and her partner Tim Mathieson first arrived back home in Altona under the escort of Australian Federal Police officers on 6 July.
According to the report the interstate move is not immediate but that she and her partner are looking for a suitable residence and plan to shift after the election.
