A FUN family market that boasts something for everyone is coming to Williamstown with Santa and his reindeer guests of honour.
Melbourne Cheeky Monkey Market will be held on 8 December at Seaworks, 82 Nelson Place, Williamstown.
The market will feature more than 120 stalls selling items like new and handmade kids clothing, IT items, clothing, jewellery, home wares, cosmetics, lingerie and much more.
There will be live entertainment on stage, including a samurai demonstration, magic show and carols as well as a clown, magician, jumping castle, face painting, tattoo art and rides for all ages.
The market was created by mums and sisters-in-law Bianca Patsalis and Stacey Patsalis who wanted to create a space that their children could have a fun time while they nab a bargain.
“As mums ourselves, our boys could think of nothing worse than getting dragged along to a weekend market,” Bianca said.
“They are always asking us where the “fun stuff” is. And that was the birth of Melbourne Cheeky Monkey Market in 2013.”
“Melbourne Cheeky Monkey Market has a strong focus on fun; we aim to be the market that the kids nag you about taking them to not dragging you out of.”
Bianca said an exciting feature of the Christmas market would be live reindeer and Santa sleigh photo opportunities.
“Everyone that enters the market on the day goes into draw to win a family holiday,” she added. Adult entry is $3 and kids are free.
