A NEW women’s networking group with lots of sass has landed in Williamstown- in heels of course.
Business in Heels in Melbourne’s West was founded by Point Cook resident Ramona Lever in November 2013.
Ms Lever, who is a personal branding coach and photographer, discovered Business in Heels after she started her own business and realised the importance of networking.
“I am passionate about empowering, inspiring and educating women. I believe that when women network together, they can create magic by exchanging ideas and supporting each other,” she said.
Business in Heels is the fastest growing network of sassy professional ladies worldwide.
“I was excited to find I could I provide the west with a place for career women to connect.”
Ms Lever said the event was social first and business second.
“It’s really about the connection, connecting with the woman that may use your services.”
She said the event was a chance to meet other interesting women and if you click, you feel compelled to find a way to work together or help each other.
“The reason it works so well — it’s in the evening, getting dressed up coming along having a champagne and socialising. You click with women and business cards go with it.”
The networking event that puts a big emphasis on the giggle factor also hosts a number of “invaluable” guest speakers with each participant taking away a bag of goodies.
The second Melbourne event will be held at Pelican Landing in Williamstown on 8 April from 7pm-9pm. Tickets $37.
