It was interesting meeting you, Mr Stelzer, at Mr Oakshott’s Forum held on Tuesday evening of last week where you were pleased to inform me of a letter you had sent to the editor that I would not like.
Contrary to your thoughts, I believe we are all entitled to our views, including you, and that is what makes the world an interesting place. For some, it would seem, it doesn’t matter who or what is right or wrong when you only ever look at things from the same vantage point.
I must thank you, however, for using my name in all seven paragraphs of your letter, that really helps get my name out there… but with your closing remark of “nothing personal, Mr Walsh, but I don’t believe you reach these basic standards” (of intelligence, having a grasp of current financial conditions and operate without prejudice for the good of the community) I found somewhat amusing…Â of course it wasn’t personal.
