Market makes show grow

Market ho! The Clyde St Mall Markets are right in Kempsey’s CBD, which helps ensure they are extremely popular.

THE market of the month for this issue is the Clyde St Mall Market in Kempsey.
Held every Thursday from 7am until 2pm, the market is an ideal reason to visit Kempsey and check out the CBD. It’s also a great place to sell stuff if you have something you think would appeal.
Located in Kempsey’s central shopping precinct, the Clyde St Mall Market is the only main weekly market in the Kempsey district.
You can find just about anything and everything there already, ranging from T-shirts, to pet accessories, jewellery, art and craft, tools and fresh fruit and vegetables.
There is also ample parking within metres of the mall markets, so no lugging heavy bags miles back to the car.
The market is run by the Kempsey Showground Trust and is a major fund-raiser for the trust, helping cover the ever-increasing maintenance and running costs of the showground.
Prospective stallholders can contact market co-ordinator Maxine on 0449 265 758.
