Plenty to chew over

Ronni Kahn, founder of OzHarvest Australia, will be the keynote speaker.

YOU will have an opportunity to reap what you sow early next month.
The Hastings Business Women’s Network is staging a Reap and Sow event at the Tacking Point Surf Club on Thursday 5 June.
A percentage of proceeds from the evening will go towards REAP Port Macquarie and OzHarvest Australia to help them in their quest to feed disadvantaged members of our community, and OzHarvest Australia founder Ronni Kahn will be the keynote speaker.
Tickets are $95 per person and include a drink on arrival, a six-course meal prepared from locally sourced excess food and entertainment. Group bookings of 10 will also be available for $900.
“The Reap and Sow event has been put together to help inspire positive change within the Hastings community,” a spokesperson for the HBWN said.
“It plans to do this by raising awareness of the positive environmental and humanitarian impacts of using excess food to feed disadvantaged members of our community.
“We are thrilled also that Katrina Humble of REAP Port Macquarie, the regional arm of OzHarvest, will also be speaking at the event and providing us with some insight into what REAP is achieving on a local level.”
The night will officially kick off at 6pm. Bookings – www.hbwn.com.au
