ENJOY a cinematic journey spanning two continents at Majestic Cinemas’ Port Macquarie’s inaugural International Film Festival, which runs from 15 May to 21 May.
Films include The Missing Picture (Cambodia), My Sweet Pepper Land (Iraq), Only Lovers Left Alive (UK), Wadjda (Saudi Arabia), Like Father Like Son (Japan) and Chinese Puzzle (France).
Marketing manager Courtney Gaunt said that with five new digital screens, Majestic could now bring the best of world cinema to the Mid North Coast.
“We are encouraging patrons interested in experiencing the full range of the festival to purchase festival passes-allowing them to see all six films at a discounted rate,” she said.
Festival passes are available at $65 for adults, $55 for concessions, $50 for seniors and $45 for Movie Club members. Single session tickets can also be purchased.
“Myself, Jamie McGuire and Jacqui Ashe form the new look management team for the site and invite customers to join us for an opening night event on Thursday 15 May for Only Lovers Left Alive.
“We will be kicking the event off at 6pm with nibbles in the foyer and would love to meet and greet with our film goers. We will also be giving away two festival passes on the night.”
Tickets and festival passes are available now at the box office or by calling 6583 8400.
