PORT Macquarie writer Laurie Barber’s latest book was launched on Friday at the University of the Third Age.
Massacre at Myall Creek tells of the killing of 28 Aborigines in 1838.
At the launch entertainer Johnny Ashcroft said the book should be in every school and every public library in Australia.
Copies of the book, costing $20, can be purchased at the office of the Independent newspaper, 143 Gordon Street, Port Macquarie, at the intersection of Gordon and Gore streets.
