The unique jazz sound of the Glenn Miller Orchestra - coming to the Glasshouse soon.

THE world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra will be returning by popular demand, to the Glasshouse on Tuesday 17 June commencing at 7.30pm.
This concert spectacular features 26 musicians, singers and dancers on stage and is already attracting wonderful reviews from audiences and the media.
The Glenn Miller Orchestra, featuring America’s finest musicians and The Moonlight Serenade Singers, together with The Broadway Swing Dancers, will bring back all those sentimental memories of the 1940’s. A special added feature will be music from the library of The Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band, performed by the orchestra.
The Glenn Miller musical arrangements are unique; even after 77 years, they are still heard worldwide. Timeless icons of American culture such as Chattanooga Choo-Choo, In the Mood, Tuxedo Junction, A String of Pearls, Moonlight Serenade, Little Brown Jug and Pennsylvania 6-5000 are popular hits that still captivate millions of people.
“The Glenn Miller Orchestra is a colourful and flamboyant evening filled with fun and nostalgia of the 30s and 40s,” musical director Rick Gerber said.
“Our unique jazz sound is sought all around the world and in addition to recreating the golden era of swing, we bring to life the colour, costumes and spirit. Having travelled across the globe, the Glenn Miller Orchestra is delighted to be bringing iconic tunes such as In The Mood and Moonlight Serenade to Australia.”
