ELEVEN Port Macquarie-Hastings residents became Australian citizens late last week in a formal ceremony conducted by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council.
Mayor Peter Besseling presented the new citizens with their certificates at the council’s Burrawan Street chambers.
The new citizens came from various countries including Belarus, Poland, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, the US and India.
