THE Newcastle Permanent Building Society has provided $600 to the New England Mountain Bikers for referring a new member to take a loan, as part of its innovative Introducer Program.
New England Mountain Bikers’ spokesperson, Dave Harris said the support means a great deal.
“It will contribute to our ongoing track work at the Pine Forest and preparations for our next enduro event,” he said.
Newcastle Permanent Building Society Armidale Branch Manager, Judi Hansen said that the Introducer Program is an easy way to help raise a lot of money for a community organisation, and rewards the community for their support of Newcastle Permanent.
“It’s very simple – for every eligible new home or business loan (over $100,000) a group refers to Newcastle Permanent, we will give your organisation a referral fee of $600. During the loan application process, the borrower just needs to mention they were referred to us by your organisation.”
“The Introducer Program is an alternative fund-raising method to organising fetes, sausage sizzles or raffles. If you refer 10 people to take out a new loan with us, your organisation will receive $6000.”
“We believe that the Introducer Program is win/win – our new members get great value from us, (a mutual building society with no shareholders to pay), and we get the opportunity to provide top-quality and great value banking products to them.”
“Newcastle Permanent is regularly acknowledged by the financial industry for our loans, which are some of the best in the country,” Mrs Hansen said.
As a customer owned business, Newcastle Permanent’s ethos is ‘here for good’, and part of that is about being here for our community.
We believe the Introducer Program is a great way for us to give back to the community, while introducing new members to our mutual banking model, which offers some of the best products in the country and fantastic, warm customer service.
