A BURNSIDE teenager was killed after jumping from a moving car in Caroline Springs last month.
In a tragic start to the New Year, the 18-year-old suffered serious injuries when he hit his head on the kerb while attempting to jump from a car in Wavetree Ave on 21 January.
He died in hospital the next day.
Police do not expect to lay charges over the incident but will prepare a report for the coroner.
The death brings the road toll to 14 so far this year, compared with 19 during the same period in 2010.
