Epilepsy workshop

PEOPLE with epilepsy or those caring for someone with epilepsy are invited to attend a free workshop in Caroline Springs on understanding and managing the disorder.
Topics covered during the session will include safety and lifestyle factors, triggers and causes, diagnosis and treatment, seizure types and living with epilepsy.
Melton Shire Council mayor Justin Mammarella encouraged interested residents to attend the free session.
“Epilepsy is a common medical condition that affects many people in our community. This free workshop will help people with epilepsy, their family and friends learn more about the condition and how to manage it,” Cr Mammarella said.
The workshop will be held at Caroline Springs Civic Centre/Library, 193-201 Caroline Springs Blvd, Caroline Springs on 16 March between 10am and 12pm.
To attend contact the council on 9747 7200 by Monday 14 March.
