BRIMBANK has been awarded for its wheely good idea that sees offenders give back to the community.
The Green Wheels of Justice project was awarded the Most Outstanding New Project, Best Project in the Region and the Commissioner’s Award at the 2011 Corrections Victoria Community Partnership Awards on 17 February.
Brimbank City Council CEO Nick Foa said the project had helped offenders make the difficult transition back into the community.
 The project was a collaboration between the council, Department of Justice, the Victorian Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders and St Albans Connect.
