FRIENDS of Kororoit Creek’s Richard Piesse will be one of many volunteers heading down to the popular waterway this weekend for Clean Up Australia Day. Held in conjunction with Brimbank City Council, residents are invited to bring their own gloves, water bottle, sturdy shoes, long sleeves, trousers and join in the clean up on Sunday. The council will hold a free sausage sizzle and fun activities at Buckingham Reserve in Sunshine from 10.30am. A Clean Up Australia Day event will also be held at Davitt Drive in Deer Park.
