HOBSONS Bay City Council has launched it latest aged and adult disability services calendar to help promote services for residents who are frail or have disabilities.
Councillor Leigh Hardinge said the 2008 calendar’s theme was “activity” and it aimed to help older people stay active, engaged and happy“The council wants to ensure that older people and people with a disability are active are kept informed about the services on offer. Providing a range of activities that these groups can participate in helps to maintain independence as well as keeping minds and bodies active and engaged,” he said.
