ARSON Squad police are investigating the death of a 46-year-old Altona Meadows man on Saturday morning.
Police said family members went to the man’s house sometime before 10.30am and noticed signs of a fire.
The Metropolitan Fire Brigade was called to the house and found the dead man inside.
He was the only occupant of the house.
Investigators are waiting on the results of forensic tests before they can determine the cause of the fire.
