DETECTIVES from the Armed Crime Taskforce have issued a fresh appeal for information as the hunt continues for a shooter who gunned down a Sunshine North man.
Police were called to a Lurg Ave home around 8.15pm on 8 March where they found a 54-year-old man with gun shot wounds to his face and body.
Investigators believe the man was shot in his front yard. Witnesses told police they heard gunshots and saw a yellow tray tow truck leaving the scene shortly after. Police believe three men were behind the attack.
Detectives have released images of a man seen near the scene, along with images of a similar tow truck.
The man is described as being European in appearance and aged in his mid-late 40s, with thin to medium build and light brown hair.
He is believed to be around 170cm tall and was wearing glasses at the time of the incident.
Two other offenders are also described as being European in appearance, one with a solid build. The victim was taken to hospital where he made a full recovery.
