When the bell rings, most students bolt out the door, but next week Stevie, left, and Carissa will encourage students to stay the entire night. The Year 9 students are hosting a sleep over in the classrooms of Overnewton College for Girls Night In, which raises money for support and research of cancers that affect women. The sleep over on Friday 12 October hopes to raise more than $1000, with one teacher pledging to shave his head if students can break that barrier. Teacher Halide Huseyin said it was fantastic to see students so eager to be involved in making a difference. To find out more or to donate contact the school on 9334 0000.
