A TAYLORS Lakes man will face court next year following a vicious brawl at a men’s club which left five people in hospital.
The 37-year-old is one of three men who was charged and later bailed over an assault at King St’s Centrefold Lounge on 24 October.
Police believe the men entered the venue sometime after 6am but were asked to leave because the club was closing.
A fight broke out and five employees were allegedly assaulted.
The victims were taken to hospital where they were treated for injuries including a broken jaw, cuts and bruises and other minor injuries.
Police arrested a man from Taylors Lakes, along with a 35-year-old Point Cook man and a 39-year-old Melbourne man.
The trio were bailed to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 14 January.
They will face a string of charges including five counts each of intentionally causing serious injury, unlawful assault, assault with a weapon and affray.
