Bridge work to hit

BEGINNING Sunday 8 July, buses will replace Sydenham line trains between St Albans and Watergardens stations after 10pm from Sunday to Thursday nights for five weeks.
The changes have been caused by preliminary works being carried out on the Taylors Rd bridge project in Keilor Plains.
The replacement bus services to and from Watergardens will stop at Keilor Plains and connect with trains at St Albans.
Journey times to Watergardens will be extended by up to eight minutes and buses to St Albans will depart Watergardens 12 minutes earlier than normal train times.
During the five weeks, the last night trains operating as normal will be the 9.23pm train from Flinders Street to Watergardens and the 9.53pm train from Watergardens. But late-night train services between the city and St Albans will not be affected.
Normal late-night train services between St Albans and Watergardens will run on Friday and Saturday evenings during this period.
All train services are expected to resume on Sunday 12 August.
