Head Eastside for a fun day

THIS year’s Eastside Live Festival at Caroline Springs is drawing closer and residents are being encouraged to turn up for a fantastic day of fun and entertainment.
The Eastside Live Festival will be held at the Caroline Springs Town Centre on Sunday. It will feature the popular Bjorn Again — The Abba Tribute Band as a headline act.
Melton Shire Council deputy mayor Justin Mammarella encouraged all residents to enjoy the day’s activities that will be held from 10am to 6pm.
“Eastside Live promises to be a day full of activities for the whole family with all entertainment on the day free of charge,” Cr Mammarella said.
“Eastside Live is a celebration of community life in the Eastern Growth Corridor. It will start at 10am with a Paws on the Promenade Breakfast Walk at Lake Caroline.”
“Bring your family pet along and enjoy a leisurely stroll around Lake Caroline. While you enjoy a free pancake breakfast, there will be lots of activities for you and your pets, including micro chipping, dog rescue demonstrations and show bags.”
Registration for the walk will start at 9.45am.
The main stage entertainment will start at 11am at the town centre with Blazing Saddles, Cook Islands Group, Mowbray College Band, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Aaron Daniels Band, Bjorn Again and much more.
