INTERNATIONAL developers Babcock and Brown have bought a controlling interest in Sanctuary Lakes.
The listed company will take a 50 per cent stake in the suburb in partnership with the existing developer, Links Living.
Sanctuary Lakes, which was established in the late 1990s, now has a community of around 3500 residents in about 1200 homes.
There are about 850 unsold residential sites.
The financial split between the two developers is subject to a confidentiality agreement.
