Goodness gracious, what a garden

SUNSHINE West is home to one of Brimbank’s most creative gardens.
A menagerie of exoctic animals fill Ick Chu’s front garden – however they are not the living kind.
Mr Chu has spent the past 15 years crafting the masterpiece and is still yet to finish. He has one giant turtle left to go.
But it is the huge elephant, five years in the making, which captures everyone’s attention.
“Everyday people stop and take photos and video,” Mr Chu said.
“It makes me happy that people love it so much. They come with their children and all weekend the street is full.”
The talented resident said he is most relaxed when he is in the garden.
“I don’t care how many hours I spend out here. It is my passion.”
