A HILLSIDE woman had her car stolen by an armed woman in Sydenham last Wednesday night.
The 24-year-old victim was travelling east along the Melton Highway when stopped at boom gates activated at the Sydenham Road crossing around 11.20pm.
A woman entered the car through the unlocked passenger door.
She then produced a knife and demanded the victim driver her away from the scene.
The victim refused and got out of the car.
The armed woman then got into the driver’s seat and drove away.
Investigators are asking people to keep a look out for the stolen car, a white Mazda 3 with registration plates ZUA 811.
