A 27-year-old Deer Park man was charged last week after he was caught speeding and in the possession of drugs.
The man was intercepted by police at Station Rd, Deer Park where he had to be forcibly restrained and searched.
Police officers found a small amount of drugs alleged to be amphetamines, drug paraphernalia and ammunition.
The man was also unlicenced. He was charged and remanded in custody.
