Police shooting probe

THE fatal shooting of a St Albans man in Windsor last week is being investigated by the Homicide Squad and Professional Standards Command.
Vlado Micetic was driving a white two-door Hyundai with suspected stolen number plates when he was pulled over on Union St in Windsor last Sunday night.
It is alleged that the 44-year-old threatened the officer with a knife before he was shot.
The officer, who was working alone at the time, is believed to have fired three shots.
Police are still searching for a female passenger who fled from the scene.
Mr Micetic’s family want answers and are considering legal action, the Nine Network reported.
“It should have never happened,” his sister Mira Micetic said.
“He didn’t deserve to go like this.”
Police are reviewing in-car video and CCTV taken from near the scene of the shooting.
