GATECRASHERS caused two parties to be shut down in Brimbank last weekend.
Police were called to a home in Lemco Walk in Delahey after midnight on Sunday 25 September after receiving numerous phone calls from residents.
A party of around 30 young people, which had parental supervision, was gatecrashed by four men who ignored requests to leave.
The men became aggressive towards the hosts and guests, resulting in a large group of people fighting outside the front of the home.
Seven police units, with up to 19 Brimbank officers, arrived to move the gatecrashers on and shut the party down.
Just three hours later police were called out again to an 18th birthday party at a Doherty St home in Deer Park.
Three uninvited men turned up the house around 3am and became involved in a number of altercations with partygoers.
The fight spilled out onto the street, resulting in a Cairnlea man being hit over the head with a bottle.
The man was taken to Sunshine Hospital with lacerations to his head.
A Deer Park man received treatment from ambulance paramedics after he was being hit on the head with a stick of some kind.
A third man from Cairnlea sustained bruising to the stomach after the gatecrashers punched him in the stomach and ran off with his wallet.
Anyone with information about either of the events is asked to contact Brimbank CIU Detective Senior Constable Sandra Thwaites on 9313 3414.
