Two terrorised in home invasion

By Laura Wakely
POLICE are searching for three men who made off with wallets after a home invasion in Keilor Park last month.
Three men of Islander appearance entered an unlocked house in Eliza St at around 6pm on Saturday 24 September.
The men made their way to the bedroom and made threats to the male and female occupants, asking the pair to hand over money.
The trio were carrying knives and what is believed to be a home-made firearm, which was aimed under the male victim’s chin during the incident, while one of the knives was held to his throat.
The group left the house after the victims handed over their wallets.
Brimbank Crime Scene Services officers and Dog Squad attended the scene and are continuing to investigate the incident.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Brimbank CIU Detective Senior Constable Sandra Thwaites on 9313 3414.
