KURUNJANG Primary School was vandalised in the lead up to the new school year.
Unknown offenders entered the grounds of the school and damaged various areas, causing damage of more than $1000 between 3pm on 25 January and 3pm on 29 January
Police said three large shade sails were cut down, speaker wires cut, downpipes damaged and a storeroom door kicked.
“We have very little vandalism,” school principal Heather Guillot said.
“Occasionally we have vandalism and it’s always disappointing.”
Mrs Guillot said there was also a very small amount of graffiti and expects the school to repair the damaged sail cloths quickly.
Nothing was stolen during the incident.
Anyone with information are urged to contact police.
