Olivia’s poem

ONE Sacred Heart Primary School grade six student, Olivia, has inspired her teachers, classmates and parents with a poem she wrote about mothers. The poem, which was distributed at the school’s Biggest Morning Tea and belated Mother’s Day celebrations last week, read: “A special face, so bright and shining there for me to see every day… whose heart loves me in every way… she’s the light in the dark, as fresh and stunning as summer air in the park”. The morning tea was organised by the grade five and six students and Olivia’s poem was her contribution to the event. Funds raised at the morning tea went the Cancer Council Victoria. 82162 Picture: JOE MASTROIANNIONE Sacred Heart Primary School grade six student, Olivia, has inspired her teachers, classmates and parents with a poem she wrote about mothers.
