DETECTIVES from Sunshine’s Criminal Investigation Unit are searching for a man who tried to rob a Deer Park milk bar last week.
About 4.15pm on Tuesday, a man attempted to hold up the milk bar in Dumfries St.
According to police, the man, armed with a knife, threatened the 34-year-old storeowner in front of his wife, demanding cash.
But the would-be robber’s plans were foiled when the shopkeeper produced a pole and chased him from the store. Investigators are seeking information from the public to help solve the crime. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the CIU on 9313 3333.
