Charity concert honours songwriter's father

A CAROLINE Springs singer and songwriter will host a charity concert in memory of his father on Sunday 10 November.
Clarence Marshall, will honour his father Trevor’s memory with a concert at The Crate Theatre, 2 Pecks Rd, Sydenham.
The show will raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Foundation Victoria.
The foundation is the peak body representing people affected by dementia within the state and supports people with dementia, their families and carers through education, information, counselling and referral services.
According to the foundation, there are more than 321,600 Australians living with dementia and this number is expected to increase by one third to 400,000 in less than 10 years.
To help out with fundraising for the foundation, Mr Marshall will be joined by special guests James Elmer from ABC3 Kids and Luke Avella from Hot Shoe Shuffle at his Sydenham concert.
Mr Marshall has been working in the entertainment industry for 18 years and also teaches singing at Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance.
He has also released two albums, Because of Me and The Real You.
