POLICE arrested and charged three men last week after executing a series of warrants across the North and West.
Police dismantled a sophisticated clandestine drug laboratory at a Bloomfield Ave address in Maribyrnong and also conducted raids at properties in Maidstone, Altona, Ascot Vale and Narre Warren.
Aiden Khodher from Maribyrnong and Wisam Dinah from Narre Warren faced an out of session’s court hearing last week and were remanded to face the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
Both men were charged with trafficking a commercial quantity of a drug of dependence, possessing precursor chemicals, possessing a tablet press and other drug related charges.
A 26-year-old Maidstone man was charged and bailed with possession of a drug of dependence and other drug related offences.
A 25-year-old Altona man was released pending further enquiries.
The arrests were in relation to Operation Matador, which has been an ongoing investigation into drug manufacturing and trafficking.
