Laugh your heads off with raw talent

Cocoroc’s Dale Craig and Williamstown’s Dawn Schary gave a nervous Andrew Brown some words of comfort as they prepared to battle it out in the competition to become Australia’s next big comic. RAW Comedy, the open mic competition that has launched talent like Chris Lilley, Josh Thomas and Tim Minchin, will hold its only event in the West at the Footscray Community Arts Centre on Thursday night. Presided over by Rod Quantock, the event will also be Auslan interpreted. RAW Comedy takes place from 7pm on Thursday 9 February at the Footscray Community Arts Centre.
