FASHION with a flair will be on display at a glamorous event in Brimbank this month.
Resident and fashion designer Zsaneta, who has a store in Moonee Ponds, said she decided to stage her Pre-Autumn 2012 collection of evening wear at a Taylors Hill house, with a pool for models to parade around.
The fashion parade will be recorded for Foxtel’s Fashion Channel and is sponsored by Krosno Glasswear, The Academy of Make Up in South Yarra and GG fashion consultants.
“Summer is nearly over and as a designer I have to be on the ball with pre-season designs,” Zsaneta said.
“The inspiration behind my designs always depends on the season.”
“For this collection the colours I’ve chosen are deep autumn/winter warm colours that you would find around a brick fireplace.
“Beautiful fiery reds, deep, blue evening skies and the colour of dry wood used in a log fire place to keep you warm in the cooler months.”
Zsaneta said organising fashion parades always involved hard work but arranging her latest catwalk show has been “awesome”.
“I’ve chosen to create a range whereby couture designs take up a lot of my energy,” she said.
“My label and style being ‘couture’, however, gives a cutting edge to each design. I always love having at least one show stopper gown.”
A love of fashion runs in Zsaneta’s family – her daughter Julia combines modelling with her university studies.
“It’s always exciting to see my gorgeous daughter in my designs, which she wears well whether she’s on the catwalk or going out partying. Both my children are my source of inspiration,” Zsaneta said.
“After this range, I will be creating a menswear range for my next fashion show whereby my son has inspired my imagination to start creating an exciting edgy menswear range.”
