A FREE ride cost a Braybrook man dearly after he was held at knifepoint in Sunshine last week.
The 52-year-old man was waiting at a bus stop in Duke St at around 1.30pm when a white coloured Holden Commodore sedan pulled up alongside him.
A female driver and male passenger offered the man a lift to the Sunshine Town Centre.
On arrival in Baker St, the man pulled out a large knife and demanded money from the victim.
The Braybrook man handed over his wallet to the couple and was forced out of the car before it drove away.
The female driver is described as being in her 20s with long blonde hair and her accomplice believed to be around 40 years-old with shoulder-length brown hair.
Both of the offenders are Caucasian.
Police believe the Commodore may be missing a rear number plate.
